I don't think you're asking too much; it's completely reasonable to want a screenshot of the client that doesn't have too much known about it, and it's even more reasonable when you consider the fact that the last screenshot is from so long ago.
Honestly, the client is in a bit of a mess as of currently; as a small group of diehard human code enthusiasts, it is difficult sometimes to deliver on expectations, with us having to do development and testing ourselves, it does take quite a long time for us to build anything. There is still more work to be done before we have even an alpha roduct worthy of a showcase.
